‘Sunflower’ Organic Body Oil Bar: 50% to Ukraine

Like most of you, I'm struggling to carry on as normal with my every-day work, as I'm feeling so distressed about what's happening to Ukrainian people, and their animals. I've felt the need to do something constructive. So I've created my solid body oil bar in the shape of a Sunflower - the symbol of Ukraine. It's exactly the same as my heart-shaped bar, but with this one, 50% of the price (all the profit) goes to Disasters Emergency Committee.

It's made with minimal natural plant ingredients, and doesn't need packaging. This is part of my 'Leave Only Footprints' range, as we can still have gorgeous, effective, natural skincare but that doesn't leave you with a load of packaging at the end.

This solid body oil bar is a blend of just two high-performing, organic and natural plant butters that will leave your skin feeling nourished, hydrated and looking beautifully healthy. It's gently scented with lavender, ylang ylang and grapefruit essential oils making the most gorgeous uplifting scent.

It is wrapped in a piece of grease-proof paper (which is FSC, compostable certified unbleached and totally chlorine free) which can be composted or recycled. I recommend keeping the bar on the piece of grease-proof paper and keeping it somewhere cool and dry - it will melt if you leave is somewhere warm and sunny.

How to use your solid body oil

Just rub the bar over warm skin on your arms or legs, or anywhere you want some moisture, then massage this into your skin. Then place the bar back onto the grease-proof paper, or into the tin. You will soon get to know how much you need to warm and use.

The grease-proof paper is biodegradable and compostable.

I recommend keeping the bar wrapped or resting on the grease-proof paper somewhere cool and dry and out of the way of curious dogs.

Or invest in the lovely heart-shaped re-usable tins, you only need to buy the tin once, and after that you can buy the bar naked.

Here's the key ingredients:

Cocoa Butter:  It creates a protective skin barrier, and is a natural source of antioxidants, great for dry skin and wrinkles. It’s the fatty component of chocolate and is full of nutrients.

Shea Butter: a rich creamy butter, rich in nutrients and an excellent anti-aging ingredient, diminishes the appearance of skin blemishes including scars, burns, and rashes and is great for eczema.

Grapefruit Essential Oil: uplifting, has a positive effect on the mind, helpful for those with SAD with depression. Great for cellulite, hangovers and boosting immune system and the lymphatic system.
