An absolute must if you need a very simple, clean balm, handmade with just seven natural plant oils, and no essential oils. This balm is super-hydrating and gentle, suitable for use on very sensitive and reactive skin, even eczema and rosacea, and other skin allergies.
I’ve chosen a range of natural, nutrient-rich oils and butters, which will soothe and hydrate even the most sensitive and dry skin.
Can be used as a cleansing balm and a facial moisturiser. A little goes a long way. 55g.

As someone with very sensitive, reactive skin, there are times when I have to reach for something very very gentle. I've created this Very Calm Organic Face Balm, it's a gorgeous soft, gentle and pure skin balm, made purely from organic plant oils and absolutely nothing else, to use on the face when nothing else works.
With no essential oils, it is as calming and pure as it can be, with just wonderfully rejuvenating and skin-loving natural butters and oils.
You can use the Very Calm Organic Face Balm as a cleansing balm and as a moisturiser.
This organic balm does not contain linalool or limonene or any other naturally occurring allergens.
Directions: use a small amount, let it sink in, then add a bit more if necessary. A little goes a very long way so apply sparingly.
Don't rub too much - sensitive skin doesn't like being rubbed, you can pat it onto sore skin.
PLEASE NOTE: This balm is very soft and will immediately melt on contact with your skin. If it gets warm, it will melt. If this happens, pop it in the fridge overnight to set it again, and make sure you store it in a cool place out of sunlight. Please be careful opening it if you receive it when it is very warm outside.

Organic Sunflower Seed Oil: fantastic source of Oleic acids with high amounts of Vitamins A, D, and E, also has beneficial amounts of lecithin, and unsaturated fatty acids. It is easily absorbed and applied without leaving greasiness or blocking pores. It naturally contains: Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D, Rich in protein, linoleic acid, minerals and Vitamin E.
Organic Shea Butter: naturally rich, creamy and highly emollient, rich in nutrients, anti-aging, moisturising, diminishes the signs of blemishes, soothes sore inflamed skin.
Organic Calendula: homegrown in my garden, this wonderful oil is naturally rich in salicylic acid, a natural skin repairer, which helps to moisturise skin, helping it to shed dead cells and keep pores clear. It has anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing skin and soothing eczema.

I bought this after a very unhealthy / busy few weeks in November resulted in all of the skin on my face turning to crepe-like paper and tearing easily! I went straight to LJ natural as I’ve previously bought products from her before and have always been impressed.
This was the only product that didn’t sting (I chose sensitive version) when applied and was very soothing when applied over night.
After this breakout I used it as a cleanser with a muslin cloth. It’s really soothed my rosacea.
It’s important to cleanse properly as leaving the product on oily parts of your face can lead to build up. I’ve had this for 3 months now and probably still have another 2 weeks of use left. I think I was probably using too much to start with, though! Very much recommend this.

Very Calm Organic Face Balm has revolutionised my cleansing regime. I use this to remove all make up with a warm cloth. A tiny amount only is required. I have had the pot around 3 months and only a third of the way through. After rinsing, my skin is left soft and moisturised. Very Calm Organic Face Balm goes on smoothly and is completely non irritiating. I keep it in the bathroom to apply immediately after washing. My skin is dry and I moisturise in layers.
