Every Day ways to keep eczema under control naturally.

An-easy-to-read guide to everything you need to know about eczema, foods to eat, washing powders to try, supplements to take!

I’m very excited to share with you this guide of all the information I have gathered together over the years, in my search to keep my own severe eczema under control.

Let’s get one thing straight – this book is not a “cure” for eczema because there is no cure. If you have eczema, you will have it for the rest of your life, but what you will learn to do is manage it in lots of different ways.

There are many types of eczema and many different causes (from a genetic predisposition to allergic reaction); this advice applies to all of them. Following some or all of this advice will hopefully give you long periods of time without eczema – and maybe if you are careful (and lucky) it may never come back.

I’m writing this book because in my business of hand-making organic skincare products (including a very successful natural balm that is helpful in the treatment of eczema), I am constantly asked for advice on keeping eczema at bay. I find myself saying the same things over and over again, day after day, so I decided it was time to put it all in one easy-to-read place.  You will find this book split into simple chapters that you can dip in and out of as you need to.

Although I am a fully qualified clinical Aromatherapist, I would always advise seeing your GP for eczema and health related queries; this is particularly important if you think your eczema is infected. However, if you are looking for natural and sustainable ways to permanently keep eczema out of your life, then read on.

The information in the book are the things I have found helpful, I never make any promises about the same things working for everyone. But as I have spent years collecting all this information, I am sharing it in the hope that others will find it just as useful as I did. This is my own personal experience and journey; what you choose to try is up to you and should be done sensibly and with caution after you have come to your own conclusions or consulted with a professional.

  1. Liz Turner

Really helpful book lots of useful tips for eczema sufferers. I’ve had eczema for 29 years and have never got this much information from my Gp or dermatologist.

  2. Anon

This book is a great tool to help you if you or any of your family suffer with eczema. Lisa’s professional and personal knowledge and experience is brought together in one handy, easy to read guide, that can be referred to over and over again.

  4. Johnny H

Very clear and no-nonsense guide to managing eczema without steroid creams, and by thinking about how to prevent it in the first place I had no history of skin sensitivity until my 40s and I had no idea what to do. This book is great. Short enough to read in a day or two and then you can keep referring back to the detailed points. Thank you Lisa!

  5. Nikki

If you or anyone you know suffers with eczema or any irritated skin condition, are fed up with conventional treatment and looking for a more natural solution – then this is a must read. Lisa has done all the hard work for you by putting together an easy to read book with lots of great tips, practical advice and sound information to help manage your eczema naturally and for life. I highly recommend it.

  6. Gabby Lamplugh

This book is a must have for anyone struggling with eczema. As a mother to a child who had very painful eczema, I took many, many trips to the GP and dermatologist. Very little improvement was found using the various medicated creams and ointments. It was only when I met Lisa who tailormade a balm and bath oil for my son did the eczema finally clear up.

In this book, Lisa expertly brings together a wealth of professional advice along with her own personal experiences with eczema. It is wonderfully written with love and care in an easy to read format. Buy one for yourself and one for all of your friends and family.

  7. Sharon

I was invited to contribute to this wonderful book having known Lisa professionally for a few years but I was still amazed at the vast knowledge that Lisa has and how much valuable guidance she shares in it. What I especially like is that she draws on her own personal experience and she is definitely living proof of walking her talk. If you suffer from eczema and are getting nowhere with conventional treatments then I highly recommend investing in this book. At just under £5.00 you will benefit immensely from her many years of research and investment into finding natural ways to manage this debilitating skin condition. Well done Lisa. This book is a credit to you and I know so many will be helped by it.

  8. Sian

I’d highly recommend this book for sensitive skin and eczema. Lisa’s expertise and products have been so useful for my family and I always recommend her stuff to my friends. It’s great to have so much info presented in a clear way without having to go through all the research yourself. Thank you Lisa.

  9. Jo

This book has been a revelation for me, I had no idea that so many things could irritate the skin. I’ve used Lisa’s products on my face for years, but hadn’t ever considered food, detergents, could also be affecting my skin.

Lisa’s knowledge of the subject and her own personal experiences make this a really easy read, knowing what she has been through and the story of how she came to keep her eczema under control is really encouraging. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who suffers from not only eczema but sensitive skin generally. It offers sensible advice and reads like it is written by a friend! I certainly intend to make some changes on the back of her advice.
