Nourish & Glow Balm – for cheeks & lips

My multi-use gently tinted balm for cheeks and lips: a wash of natural colour and a nourishing treatment, all in one little pot.

I've made this gorgeous face balm with just a handful of beautiful organic plant oils and the ingredients I trust completely: including organic shea butter, hemp seed oil and avocado oil, and a touch of natural colour, hand-blended by me in small batches.

Ingredients I love: Shea butter melts straight into skin for deep, lasting moisture. Hemp seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids to help nourish and soothe. Avocado oil sinks in beautifully, leaving skin soft rather than sticky. Together they give a natural flush of colour and a healthy glow, while actually looking after your skin underneath.

How to use: Warm a little between your fingertips and dab onto cheekbones for a natural flush, then press the rest onto your lips. Build it up for more colour, or use it sparingly for the barest hint of glow.

Why I made this: I'm not really one for make-up. I wanted a tinted balm that did more than just sit on top of my skin. So many of the multi-use balms I tried were full of horrible synthetic ingredients, pretty on the outside, but not doing much for my skin underneath. I started blending my own with shea butter, hemp seed oil and avocado oil, with natural red clay and a little natural mica, until I had something that gave a natural flush of colour and left my skin feeling properly nourished, not just coated. It's the balm I always wanted for myself; and now I get to share it with you.

This is what a "glow balm" should be, in my opinion: real ingredients doing real work, not a long list of fillers dressed up with a nice pigment. If you want a treatment for your skin as much as a bit of colour, this one's for you.
